Mother’s Love

A mother’s love is not repaid
By words however kind,
By deeds of kindness, sweets and flowers,
Though these may cheer her mind.

T’is not repaid by any gift,
Nor anything that’s bought.
They serve her most who do their best
To live as she has taught.
